Gentle process in a listed building
Cleaning and coating of existing exhaust ducts with special needs for gentle handling.
A documented solution for renovation, sealing and life-extension of ventilation ducts without large-scale demolition – including sealing of ducts with asbestos.
Trusted by leading Danish organisations

From residential buildings, production, laboratories and cruise ships to cleanrooms and hospitals – coating of ventilation ducts is proven in environments with high demands on operations, documentation and care.

When ventilation ducts need renovation, demolition and new construction are typically chosen by default. This means extensive intervention in the building, large amounts of waste, prolonged construction time and a significant climate footprint – without it always being technically necessary.
Interventions in structures, ceilings and shafts.
Tons of duct material end up as construction waste.
Residents and users must be moved during the work.
Systems and rooms are taken out of service for long periods.
Production and transport of new ducts burden the climate.
We renovate existing ventilation ducts from the inside with a documented coating process. The system is back in operation with an extended lifetime – without demolition, without new ducts and without major intervention in the building.
Ducts are mapped and assessed with camera and measurements to determine reuse potential.
Interior cleaning removes dust, grease and deposits – the duct is prepared for coating.
A specially developed coating is applied internally and seals the duct, including against moisture, corrosion and chemicals.
The finished quality is documented with tests, photos and a report.

Significantly lower climate footprint than replacement. Reusing existing materials feeds directly into the building's green accounts.
Fewer trades, fewer interventions, shorter construction time. The system is typically back in operation in a fraction of the time.
Reduced costs for demolition, new ducts, relocation and consequential work on the building.
Tests for fire, pressure loss, EPD and chemical resistance document the quality – from consultant to operations.
We have experience from housing associations, hospitals, cultural institutions, swimming pools, laboratories, cruise ships and listed buildings, where demands on operation, documentation and care are high.
“Coatable delivered a documented solution that made it possible to renovate without relocating residents. That was crucial to the project's success.”
“We saved both time and CO₂ by reusing the existing ducts. The documentation was in order from day one.”
We deliver documentation in a format that can be used directly in project material, tenders and client communication – so you can assess the solution professionally and minimise project risk.
